Udhamini wa masomo elimu ya juu mwaka 2017/2018

Mfuko wa    Udhamini    wa    Kumbukumbu    ya    Mwalimu    Julius    Nyerere unaosimamiwa na Benki Kuu ya Tanzania (BoT), unatangaza kutoa nafasi za udhamini (scholarships) kwa masomo ya elimu ya juu kwa mwaka 2017/18.Ufadhili  huu,unalenga  kuongeza  hamasa na  ufaulu kwa wanafunzi  wa  kike hapa  nchini  katika masomo  yaHisabati  na  Sayansi. Unajumuisha gharama zote za ada, pesa za  kujikimu,  mafunzo  ya  vitendo  na  vifaa  vya  kujifunzia ikiwemo kompyuta mpakato (Laptop).

Ufadhili  huo utatolewa kwa  wanafunzi  raia  wa  Tanzania  wenye  ufaulu  wa
kiwango cha juu waliosajiliwa vyuo vikuu vinavyotambulika nchini. Kwa shahada  ya  kwanza, ufadhili  utatolewa  kwa  wanafunzi  wenye  ufaulu
wa  juu-yaani daraja  la  kwanza miongoni  mwa  wanafunzi  kumi  bora  kitaifa
wa  kidato  cha  sita  mwaka 2017, kwa  masomo  ya Hisabati na Sayansi kwa
wanafunzi  wa  kike tu  na  masomo  ya Uchumi,  TEHAMA,  Uhasibu na Fedha
kwa wanafunzi wa kike na wa kiume.

Kwa  upande  wa  shahada  ya  uzamili,  ufadhili utatolewa kwa  wanafunzi  wa
kike na wa kiume waliofaulu kwa kiwango cha juu katika shahada ya kwanza
kwa kozi za  Hisabati,  Sayansi, Uchumi, TEHAMA, Uhasibu na Fedha.

Mfuko   unawahimiza   wanafunzi   wote, hasa   wa kike, katika   Jamhuri   ya
Muungano wa Tanzania kujibidisha katika masomo na kupata ufaulu wa juu.

Kwa  Shahada  ya  Kwanza  orodha  ya  wanafunzi kumi  (10) bora wa kidato cha  sita  2017 itaombwa  toka  Baraza  la  Mitihani  la Taifa  (NECTA)baada  ya
matokeo  kutoka.  Kwa  Shahada  ya  Uzamili,maombi  yatakaribishwa rasmi
kuanzia mwezi wa sita, 2017. Fomu za Maombi kwaajili ya Udhamini huu zitapatikana katika Tovuti ya Benki Kuu, ofisi za Benki makao makuu  na
matawini  kuanzia mwezi wa sita, 2017.

Undergraduate scholarship criteria

The Undergraduate Scholarship is offered under two sub-categories: Category A
and B.

Undergraduate Degree Scholarship Category A

Field of Study: Degree Programmes related to Mathematics or Science 

Target Group: Female Students only

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicant must be a Tanzanian citizen,

• Applicant must be among the top best performers at ACSEE as per the National Examinations  Council of Tanzania Holder   of Division  one  with  higher  grades in Science  and Mathematics subjects. 

• Applicant  must have  completed  the Advanced Certificate    of   Secondary    School    Education Examinations  (ACSEE)  in  the same  year applying for. 

• Applicant   must be   admitted or   intendto   be admitted into a  full  time undergraduate  degree programme   in   accredited   universities in the United  Republic  of  Tanzania. 

• The  course  should commence  in  the  respective  academic  year  in any of the following fields: 

1. Mathematics  
2. Science

• Applicant must not be granted any other loan or bursary  arrangement  for  the  same  study  course and year

Added Advantage 

• Consistent high academic performance from the Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE).

Undergraduate Degree Scholarship - Category B

Field of Study:  Degree Programmes related to Economics,                   Information Technology, Accounting and Finance.

Target Group: Female and Male Students

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant must be a Tanzanian citizen Applicant  must be  among  the top  best  performers  at ACSEE as  per the  National  Examinations  Council  of Tanzania -

• Holder  of Divisionone with  higher grades  in Science, Mathematics, Commercial or Arts subjects.

• Applicant    must    have    completed    the    Advanced Certificate       of       Secondary       School       Education Examinations (ACSEE) in the same year applying for.

• Applicant  must  be admitted or  intend to  be  admitted into  a  full  time  undergraduate  degree  programme  in accredited   universities   in the   United   Republic of Tanzania. 

• The    course    should    commence    in    the respective academic year in any of the following fields:

1. Economics, 
2. Information Technology 
3. Accounting and Finance 

• Applicant must not be granted any other loan or bursary  arrangement  for  the  same  study  course and year

Added Advantage 

• Consistent high academic performance from the Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE).

Master’s Degree Scholarship

Field of Study:  Master’s Degree Programmes related to   Mathematics,  Science,
Economics, Information Technology, Accounting and Finance

Target Group: Male  and Female graduates 

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant must be a Tanzanian citizen

• Applicant  must  have  obtained  First  Class  or  an  Upper Second  Class (honours)  in  the  bachelor  degree  with a minimum GPA of 4.0,

• Applicant  must have  completed first degree  in  studies related     toMathematics,     Science,     Economics, Information Technology,  Accounting and Finance in the  same  year applying  for or  the  previous  academic year,

• Applicant  must be  admitted into a full  time Master degree  course  in accredited  universities  in the  United Republic of Tanzania. The course should commence in the  respective  academic  year  in  any  of  the  following fields:

1. Mathematics 
2. Science
3. Economics
4. Information Technology
5. Accounting and  
6. Finance

• Applicant must not possess any other educational loan or  bursary arrangement  provided  for  the  same  study course and year

• Consistent high academic performance from the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (ACSEE).
